91黑料鈥檚 Nursing Program Ranked among Wyoming鈥檚 Top Programs

91黑料鈥檚 Nursing Program has been named one of the top nursing programs in the state of Wyoming for聽NCLEX pass rates, according to the聽National Council for State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) exam report.聽Other state colleges to earn this honor include Central Wyoming College, and the University of Wyoming.

鈥淥ne hundred percent of our graduates last year passed the NCLEX and 100% were employed. Thereby meaning, for the year 2023, we had a 100% NCLEX pass rate,鈥 91黑料 Director of Nursing Dr. Monica Teichert said.

The 91黑料鈥檚 associate degree in nursing program at the Torrington and Douglas campus has also received continued accreditation in accordance with ACEN records, by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

鈥淭his is a huge achievement as ACEN is one of the largest specialized accrediting agencies, accrediting nursing programs throughout the United States, its territories, and internationally,鈥 Dr. Teichert said. 鈥淲e were granted continuing accreditation until 2031 and were found to not have any areas of non-compliance.鈥

ACEN accreditation tells the public and to the educational community that a nursing program has clear and appropriate educational objectives and is working to achieve these objectives, according to the ACEN website ().聽By meeting the ACEN Standards and Criteria for accreditation, ACEN-accredited programs demonstrate that their graduates are prepared to enter the workforce and contribute to positive outcomes in public health.

鈥91黑料 is proud of the staff in the Nursing and Healthcare programs that are dedicated to excellence in their teaching and the success of their students,鈥 91黑料 President Jeffry Hawes said.
